The GLOBAL PORTAL INSTITUTE (GPI) is an international non-profit research organization focused on climate, conservation, and cultural development. A transnational, transscalar and transgenerational sustainability initiative, GPI fosters an uncharted Silk Corridor model and international platform spanning Latin America through Southeast Asia passing by Africa, highlighting essential networks, new types of exchanges between the most biodiversity-rich regions of the world, and international trade on the global arena.

CLIMATE DIPLOMACY
GPI works with Markets, Ministries, local institutions, non-governmental organizations and private stakeholders, to build actionable frameworks for climate initiatives and enable their scale across communities and markets through innovation and trans-discipline cooperation.
CONSERVATION
All businesses and all humanity depends directly and entirely upon nature capital. GPI strives to introduce and sustain new paradigms with local partners every step of the way to ensure sustainable implementation and developments.
CULTURE
All GPI programs are built with culture in mind from initiation to achievement. In every regions of the world, science and business walk hand in hand with local practices. Culture is the architecture of our institutions and the clear foundation of a community of sensitivity and of destiny that transcend any borders.
EDUCATION
Knowledges must be protected and transferred at all costs. GPI bridges the most remote communities with highest stake of governments to enable educational programs, vocational trainings, and community-based service focused on environmental education in practice, in the language of ecology and economy.

NICOLAS PICAT SARIDAKI
President
Nicolas Picat Saridaki is a French photographer and a professor with a two decade-long career in the Amazonian region. He has participated in various translations of vernacular languages on plant properties and other vanishing knowledges in the area. His work aims to reveal isolated communities and territories to consider the effects of politics on bodies and the complex relationship of Man with Environment.
LUCY XU
Director of Operations
Lucy Xu is an innovation and technology specialist. She holds a business degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Partnering with Ministries of Research, Technology Institutions, emerging innovation hubs, she aims to bridge existing potential for new models of trades. With a focus on climate, she is now applying the same leverages between the Amazon Basin and Southeast Asia.
